The Arborbrook Falcons will be back in action this year for Grades 6-10 in the following sports:
- Flag Football (Fall)
- Cheerleading (Fall/Winter) – NEW!
- Boys Basketball (Winter)
- Girls Basketball (Winter)
- Coed Soccer (Spring)
Registration is currently open for Flag Football ($105) and Cheerleading ($175). All athletes need to fill out the Sports Registration Form. In addition, Flag Football players need to fill out the waiver form. Click on the links to the right or pick up a hard copy at the main office. Registration Forms need to be turned in as soon as possible so we can begin working on forming teams.
Flag Football Details
Flag Football is considered a recreational sport at Arborbrook. We are looking to create two teams again this season (6th-7th & 8th-10th). Practices will begin the first week of school. The cost is $105 (includes uniform, equipment, and administration fees). The max amount of players on each team will be ten. Therefore, “try-outs” will be held if necessary. We are planning to play against Siskey YMCA teams on Saturdays and possibly some other small private schools during the week.
Cheerleading Details
We are very excited to announce that our Arborbrook Falcon basketball teams will have a squad of cheerleaders led by Missy Schrader to cheer them to victory in the 08/09 season! Cheerleading will be considered a recreational sport at Arborbrook.
The cheerleading squad will consists of girls in grades 7-10. They will begin practicing in early September and continue to cheer straight through the basketball season championship tournament in February. Cheerleaders will learn cheers, chants and dances and be built up in their gifts of encouragement, edification and service all while growing in unity and humility.
The cost will be $175 for the season and will include a complete cheerleading ensemble: a shell, skirt, bloomers, socks, shoes, hair bow, pom poms, practice t-shirt and shorts, and a cheerleading duffel bag.

If space allows we might allow 6th grade students to cheer this year as well. Since we are waiting to see the response from the older students, please wait to tell your daughter to avoid getting her hopes up. Just send a quick e-mail and let Missy know if you have a 6th grader who might be interested.
